The Oscars red carpet on Sunday night is sure to feature some powerful statements about the #MeToo movement (and probably awkward moments as well, with Ryan Seacrest, who's been accused of sexual abuse, hosting the pre-show for E!). Saturday Night Live held nothing back this week in skewering the Hollywood figures who've been accused of sexual harassment or worse by presenting the "Grabby Awards."
The red carpet was hosted by Yolanda Beaks (Cecily Strong) and a rotating cast of male counterparts who kept having to leave as accusations against them surfaced. They interviewed nominees for the "Handsiest Actor" award, and cut to an interview with the recipient of the night's "Cecil B. Molestin'" prize. It was fairly brutal.
Elsewhere, Alec Baldwin returned as President Donald Trump for the episode's cold open, mocking Trump's bipartisan meeting on gun control. But in terms of political parodies, his appearance was overshadowed by departing White House Communications Director Hope Hicks (Strong) coming to "Weekend Update" to read prepared farewell messages to "Donny" and Ivanka Trump, among others.
