Meghalaya: UDP extends support to NPP to form non-congress govt

In what appears to be a big jolt to the Congress, Paul Lyngdoh, senior UDP leader and working president of the United Democratic Party in his interaction to Times Now, stated that his party will lend support to the NPP, the party with second highest number of seats to form a non-Congress government in the state. This development comes after Congress met with Governor Ganga Prasad late last night, saying it should be invited to form government as the single largest party.
