TDP prefers to wait and watch

more-in

The Telugu Desam Party Telangana State unit has reacted cautiously on Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) president and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s proposal for a non-BJP, non-Congress alternative at the Centre.

TDP polit bureau member Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy said the regional party would wait and watch for the political developments in the coming days.

He recalled how the TDP played a key role in the national politics previously and the party was in the process of gradually emerging as a party at the national level.

“We have to wait and watch. We have to see how the proposal translates into action and how it progresses in the coming days,” Mr. Chandrasekhar Reddy told The Hindu.
