Tata Steel holds Media Cup, lifts trophy
The Tata Steel organised a one-day 10-overs cricket tournament ‘Media Cup’ at Joda recently in which five teams participated. The teams were Keonjhar Media XI, Champua Media XI, Joda Media XI, Barbil Media XI and Tata Steel XI.
In the final match, the Tata Steel XI won the tournament by nine wickets defeating the Keonjhar Media XI. Chandan Das of Tata Steel XI was man of the match and Malaya Pani of Keonjhar Media XI was adjudged as man of the series.
Tata Steel GM Pankaj Satija, Debashis Jena, NNV Rao and Satish Sekhar attended as guests and presented the trophies to the winners. Joda corporate communication head Sunil Kumar Sahoo coordinated the programme.
