Two men have been arrested after an alleged carjacking and robbery in Rosebud.
The arrest came after a police pursuit of the alleged offenders on Friday on Bittern-Dromana Road led to police firing three shots at the men's vehicle.
The vehicle was later found abandoned at a public reserve in Karingal on Saturday.
On Sunday, Mornington Peninsula Crime Investigation Unit detectives found the two men at a house on Skye Road, Frankston.
Both men sustained minor injuries from the shots fired during the initial chase, and have received medical treatment.
The 26-year-old and 22-year-old Rosebud men are in custody. No charges have yet been laid.
The incident is believed to be linked to an alleged carjacking on Waterfall Gully Road just after midnight on Thursday, March 1, and a subsequent robbery on Hove Road.
An 18-year-old Mornington woman and 15-year-old Rosebud youth were both previously charged in relation to the incident with robbery, carjacking, criminal damage by fire and theft of motor vehicle.
The investigation will be overseen by the Professional Standards Command, which is standard protocol when shots have been fired by police.
