Says the Prime Minister failed to announce development schemes for UT

Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy on Saturday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of letting down the people of Puducherry, saying he did not make any announcements on development schemes during his recent visit to the Union Territory.

A detailed memorandum was presented to the Prime Minister during his visit to Puducherry on February 25, highlighting the fiscal difficulties being faced by the territorial government, he added.
