Over 500 persons undergo medical check-up

Madurai district police organised a free medical camp for the police personnel and their family members here on Friday. Over 500 persons underwent the medical check organised by Apollo Hospitals at the District Police Office.

Superintendent of Police N. Manivannan inaugurated the camp in the presence of Apollo Hospitals Chief Operating Officer Rohini Sridhar.

A team of seven specialist doctors and paramedical staff diagnosed the policemen and their family members for various ailments, including diabetes, heart and kidney problems.

Various medical tests, including echo, ECG, ultrasound scanning, blood tests and blood pressure, were done.
