Tripura election results: BJP confident of sweeping the Left bastion

Counting of votes cast in the assembly elections in three northeastern states of Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland began Saturday morning. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is confident of its surge in Meghalya and Nagaland and, if exit polls are to be believed, is set to win big in Tripura.
