Maharashtra: Rs 300 crore farm aid to be released

MUMBAI: The state government has decided to release funds to assist farmers from Marathwada and Vidarbhawho suffered loss of crop due to hailstorm and unseasonal rain.

The aid will be transferred to their bank account. The revenue department issued a government resolution on Saturday, stating that crop worth Rs 313 crore was damaged in February 19 districts.
