Jewellery stolen from PMPML driver’s house

Pune: Unidentified men stole gold ornaments totally worth Rs5.85 lakhs from the residence of a PMPML bus driver in Baljinagar at Dhankawdi after finding the door open between February 12 and 28.

Kaluram Balu Kondhalkar (52) had kept the gold in his cupboard. The men walked into his residence and took the gold before fleeing.


The theft came to light after Kondhalkar discovered the ornaments had been stolen from the cupboard, on Friday.


He has lodged an FIR under section 380 (theft) of the Indian Penal Code with the Sahakarnagar police.
