An eight-year-old girl was abducted and allegedly raped by a young man in Suroth Mahal of Karauli district in Rajasthan on Thursday night. Currently, the victim is s undergoing treatment at JK Lone Hospital in Jaipur.

Station Officer Sayeed Sharif Ali Khan told that a youth from Bamanpura village was abducted from the house on Wednesday night and the accused took her to the graving yard and did wrongdoing with her.
Sayeed Sharif Ali Khan added that the victim was sent to Jaipur in critical condition. He told that the accused has been identified as Rakesh Harijan (25).
The culprit was detained under section 363 (abduction), 376 (mischief) and POSCO Act of Indian Penal Code. He was presented in court and he was taken into four days of police remand for questioning.
