NTPC Chairman and Managing Director Gurdeep Singh on Friday visited NTPC-Ramagundam and inspected all the prominent locations of the existing 2600 MWs project station and interacted with the employees and officials at the working locations. The CMD was received by NTPC Ramagundam Executive Director D. K. Dubey along with Regional Executive Director (South) K. R. C. Murthy and other senior officials. Mr. Singh also addressed the employees and highlighted the opportunity in power sector as well as the challenges ahead. On this occasion, he visited the CSR-CD photo exhibition at the venue and appreciated the CSR initiatives of the power station.
On Saturday, the C&MD accompanied with senior officials will visit the ongoing 1600 MWs Telangana super thermal power project site area and will enquire about its progress and activities. Later, he will interact with senior executives and review both Ramagundam Plant and Telangana Project before departure. Sanyuktha Mahila Samithi president Kiran Singh accompanied the CMD and participated in the programmes organized by Deepthi Mahila Samithi, Ladies club of Ramagundam.
