PM Modi halts his victory speech in between for Azaan
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi paused his victory speech to party workers mid way for Azaan, Muslim call for prayer.

Modi was addressing the party workers at the headquarter in New Delhi following massive saffron surge in the Northeast elections.

Soon after PM Modi started his speech, following a voice of azaan from the mosque, PM halted his speech to make a 2-minute break for the Islamic prayer.

Senior BJP leaders Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari and Amit Shah were also present at the BJP headquarters to celebrate BJP's victory.
