Management change in Aeroflot

Aeroflot PJSC announces that Giorgio Callegari has decided to step down from his position as Deputy CEO, Strategy and Alliances to pursue personal interests. The Company has launched a search for a successor for this position.

Aeroflot CEO Vitaly Saveliev said: “I would like to thank Giorgio for his contribution to Aeroflot’s growth and success as part of the team that has taken Aeroflot to new heights over the past several years. We will always be glad to see him in Moscow, and I wish him every success in his future endeavours.” Giorgio Callegari said: “The decision to leave the aviation industry after around 30 years has not been an easy one for me to make. I am proud of having taken part in writing a new chapter in the history of Aeroflot, and of having helped Russia’s national carrier to grow and to take its rightful position among the world’s leading airlines. Today Aeroflot is stronger than ever before, and I firmly believe that there is more significant growth still to come. I look forward to following the company’s continued success under its current management team.”
