Five cars caught alight at a recycling plant near Queanbeyan on Friday.
Fire crews were called out to the plant on Underwood Street in Beard, near the ACT border after 11am. They said it appeared the cars went up in flames inside a truck moving them into the facility for compacting.

Photo: ACT Emergency Services AgencyWhile dark plumes of smoke were seen over the area, by 12pm the fire had been put out.
The Emergency Services Agency said no one was injured and the fire was not considered to be suspicious.
"No one was hurt but people's pride," said one worker at the plant.
Two pumpers, two specialist tankers and a commander attended the scene.
