Now, Mahindra has not revealed any details of the upcoming Roxor off-road vehicle, but we do know that it is inspired from the popular and iconic Mahindra Thar. Built on the ladder-frame chassis, the Roxor will be light in weight, and more rigid than other off-roaders. The body panels are made of steel and will be available in two variants. While one will be a performance-oriented SUV for those who prefer hardcore off-road motor-sports, the other one will be rough and tough utility vehicle.
Under the hood, the Mahindra Roxor will most likely come with a 1.6-litre engine sourced from SsangYong Tivoli to meet the Euro 6 emission norms. It could either come with petrol or diesel iteration. The two-seater and open-top Roxor will come with a beefy suspension coupled by a manual gearbox and all-wheel drive function.
