Apartheid times were all good when land was forcefully taken from people and townships created to keep people of colour away from major cities and towns.
People of colour accepted the change and made their new small properties in townships homes and have continued to maintain those homes with pride. Although we have small land at our disposal some of less than 300 square metres we are so governed with restrictions on further development with strict by laws. Government need to look at extending land sizes to those small Township homes as well.
People with large land at their disposal need to create new townships in their areas by donating part of their land to the land appropriation project so that all South Africans have decent homes to live in. There should be restrictions on the size of land for residential usuage but also rezoning of land ownership to reasonable sizes for all South Africa citizens.
