Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched summer special packages covering various destinations in India and abroad for the people of Karnataka, said IRCTC regional manager (tourism) Kishore Satya on Thursday.
He told reporters that the IRCTC has launched four domestic and two international packages for the summer. The domestic packages include Bengaluru-Guwahati-Shillong-Kaziranga air package, Bengaluru-Shimla- Manali-Chandigarh-Amritsar-Wagah border, Bengaluru-Kalimpong-Gangtok-Darjeeling, and Bengaluru-Pune-Shirdi-Bengaluru. The international packages are Bengaluru-Nepal-Pokhara and Bengaluru-United Kingdom- Europe (London, France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Italy, and Vatican City). The IRCTC packages will include travel insurance and all taxes. Online booking facility is also available, he said.
