After its reveal in Weekly Jump, Bandai Namco released the first trailer for Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy for the Nintendo Switch. The trailer shows how the gameplay will look on the hybrid console, as well as some of the story beats contained in each of the three games. The trailer also reveals the Japanese release date for Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy on Nintendo Switch: April 26

The first Ultimate Ninja Storm game follows the first series of the popular Naruto anime, up to the “Save Sasuke” arc. The second game shows the return of Naruto and the rest of the ninja clan when Naruto Shippuden begins up to the battle with Pein. The third game brings fans all the way towards the end of the Great Ninja War against Tobi and the remaining members of Akatsuki.

The trailer confirms all of the DLC from the first three Ultimate Ninja Storm games will be available in the Trilogy for Nintendo Switch. Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 was the most recent release in the series (coming out in 2016) and covered the very end of the Great Ninja War and the end of the manga and anime series and even included some content from the Boruto movie.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy for Nintendo Switch will release in Japan on April 26. Now that the Japanese release date has been confirmed, it may be only a matter of time before the game is made available to the rest of the world. We will update any release date news for the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy on Switch if it comes.
