Reese Witherspoon launches new lipstick for girl power

Reese Witherspoon is launching a new red lipstick for a good cause: female empowerment.

The blonde beauty has been the Storyteller-In-Chief of cosmetics brand Elizabeth Arden for almost a year now, and she wants people to know that the company has always supported women.

According to their press release, back in 1912, the makeup label handed out free lipstick to suffragettes as they marched for the right to vote.

Now, more than a century later, all the profits from their new lipstick, called 'March On', will go to the UN Women organization to help promote gender equality and female rights around the globe.

In addition, the brand will donate $1 million dollars to the cause to kick things off.

In a video announcing the new bright red shade, Witherspoon notes that the company was "founded by a woman who was dedicated to empowering other women" and suggests that fans help her "keep that tradition going".
