President of Vietnam, Tran Dai Quang arrived at Bodh Gaya in Bihar this afternoon on a three-day visit to India. He was accorded welcome at the airport. He was accompanied by his wife Mrs Nguyen Thi Hien and a 40-member official delegation.
Mr Quang visited Mahabodhi Temple at Bodh Gaya. He will reach New Delhi this evening. Tomorrow, he will meet President Ram Nath Kovind and also hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan will also call on the visiting dignitary.
The Vietnamese President will also have an interaction with prominent Indian businessmen. The visit aims to further deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
