MDMK founder Vaiko on Wednesday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not meeting the Chief Minister's delegation on the Cauvery issue.
Mr. Vaiko alleged that the Prime Minister's Office had not responded to a request by the Chief Minister's Office to meet Mr. Modi along with the leaders of various parties.
“If you think that you can avoid us till the Karnataka elections....I don't care what the Karnataka results would be. If you are delaying this meeting because of the Karnataka elections, I will assume that you are being lax on the issues concerning eight crore Tamils,” he said.
