Holi is just around the corner but this festival of colors comes up with some negative effects as well. Those vibrant colors causes damage to the skin and hair post the festival. can be really detrimental to both your skin and hair. Follow these tips to help you protect your lovely locks this colorful ‘Holi’ season.

1. Deep condition-
Before you walk out of your home, do not forget to condition your locks with a root strengthening hair mask.

2. Massage the scalp-
Massage your scalp whenever you get a chance before Holi. This increases the blood circulation in the scalp and aids stronger hair.

3. Oiling-
Oil helps in preventing the colour from sticking to the strands. Apply a good amount of hot oil all the way from your roots to the tips of your hair.

4. Trim-
When the colors sticks to your hair, it tends to dry it out after you remove it. This leaves you with damaged ends, causing your hair to split way more than usual. Go out for a good hair trim to get rid of those split ends!

5. Pin it up-
To avoid hair breakage, tie up your hair in a bun or pony. You can also wrap your hair up in a cotton scarf or cover it with a hat.
