Four expelled Congress MLCs join JD-U

Four MLCs in on Thursday joined the ruling Janata Dal-United (JD-U), a day after they were expelled for anti-party activities.

The four Members of the -- including former and former state party along with Dileep Choudhary, Tanvir Akhtar and Ramchander -- met Chief and formally joined the party.

"We met at his official residence and have taken up the membership of the JD-U," told the media here.

On Wednesday, sensing a revolt, state expelled the four.

Later on Wednesday, Choudhary announced that "all four of us will join the JD-U" and praised Nitish Kumar, who is also the JD-U President, describing him as an "ideal leader".
