Talks held on bank transactions

The Bhubaneswar Branch of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India organised a seminar titled, “Swift transactions of banks- Cause, Effect, Risks and Audit” and “Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016” at the ICAI Bhawan here on Wednesday.

Rajya Sabha member Anubhav Mohanty and RBI Bhubaneswar DGM Saurabh Nath graced as guests. CA Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, ICAI Central Council Member CA Sonu Jain, EIRC Chairman CA Rashmi Ranjan Mishra and ICAI Bhubaneswar Branch Secretary CA Sugyan Kumar Sahoo were present.

Mohanty deliberated on various aspects of Swift transactions of Banks and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016. Nath deliberated a macro view on Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016.CA Agarwal to deliberated on various aspects of the Code.

CA Patra gave a detailed insight on the “Swift transactions of Banks– Cause, Effect, Risks and Audit.

Around 200 members from Bhubaneswar joined the event. The programme was coordinated by EICASA Chairman CA Raja Narayan Tripathy, Treasurer CA Siddharth Ranjan, MC members CA Chiranjeebi Jena, CA Janhabi Deo and CA Tarun Kumar Agarwalla coordinated.
