The Election Commission has denied serving any notice to Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. This is in reference to news report published on February 24, in which it is stated that the Election Commission
censured Rajasthan Chief Minister for making speech intimidating voters during campaigning for the
recently concluded bypolls in the State. “However, the news article published is incorrect in naming Vasundhara Raje as the notice has not been served to her. The notice which the newspaper is citing has been served to Yashodhara Raje Scindia, star campaigner of BJP,” the EC said in its clarification. The error is regretted.
