US President Donald Trump's Communications Director Hope Hicks has said she plans to leave the White House in the next few weeks.
The announcement of resignation came a day after Hicks testified before the House Intelligence Committee on allegations related to the Russian interference during the 2016 presidential campaign.
White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, in a statement said Hicks is a trusted adviser and counsellor, and did a tremendous job overseeing the communications for the President’s agenda, including the passage of historic tax reform.
