A Yacht-Inspired Santa Monica Home Seeks $22 Million

The beachfront property on the market in Southern California includes a party room, rooftop pool and two cinemas

A Santa Monica, Calif., beachfront home inspired by the design of a superyacht is coming on the market for $22 million.

The owner is South African entrepreneur Kirk Lazarus, 51, formerly of trading and mining company Glencore. He now runs a luxury lifestyle and design business called Molori, which designed the home. Mr. Lazarus said he owns four other homes on Santa Monica’s Gold Coast.
