Chanderi Utsav evokes great response among shopaholics

The shopaholics of the city are exploring the most enchanting work on dress materials at the Chanderi Utsav 2018. The exhibition is being put up at 10 no market art gallery.

The exhibition cum sale displays dresses in summer colours. A variety of more than 3,000 designs in suits would enchant the female buyers this season. These suits have been designed in different patterns and prints. There are printed materials beautifully embroidered with Batik Print, Dabu Print, Hand-Block Print and one of the most renowned and loved in all seasons, Bagh Print. There is also a range of running material (Thaan) in different varieties as well.

The array of vibrant colours like green, ocean green and ocean blue along with shades of yellow, brown, sky colours and colours in contrast is captivating the attention. There is a wonderful collection of dress materials in Maheshwari, Chanderi cotton and Kosa Silk as well.

One could find traditional and designer dress materials other than handloom as well. As the fusion theme is in-trend, the female buyers are mix-matching the chanderi dresses. The plazzos and the contrast duppattas are loved by most of the fashionistas of Bhopal.

There is something different people are exploring in this Chanderi Utsav. The hand printed material is now a common trend, but the hand painted materials is what people are captivated towards. Beginning from Rs600 the prices of the dresses go high up to Rs8000.
