The Telangana Government Pensioners Joint Action Committee will stage a silent protest at the Martyrs Memorial on March 12 protesting against the Government’s lack of response to their demands.
K. Laxmaiah, chairman of the JAC, said that some of their demands include a special incentive for Telangana pensioners as given to the employees, 15% additional pension for those over 70 years as recommended by the PRC, concessions in RTC buses like other States and establishment of additional wellness centres in the city and the districts.
