Why can't you simply cook your own food or order what you like? You're a grown man and, if the two of you can't sort this out with a simple conversation, I'm not sure what you expect me to do. Should I cook for you?
I have been fighting with my girlfriend on and off for months now for the smallest things. I really care about her a lot, and miss her when she's not around, but still start these pointless arguments whenever we go out. I always apologise later, and she forgives me, but I can't figure out why I act so childishly every single time, even after knowing that what I'm doing is immature. She doesn't do anything to make me like this, so I'm pretty sure the problem is me. She has been very patient, but I don't know if she will continue to tolerate my behaviour for very long, because not everyone can be so forgiving beyond a point. I want to change, but simply can't find a way to do it. Please help me. I don't want to lose her.
I don't see how I or anyone else can help when you are already aware of what the problem is, as well as the solution, but can't find it in yourself to implement it. You know she is important to you, recognise the fact that you are being impractical, acknowledge that she cannot and should not have infinite reserves of patience when it comes to dealing with unreasonable behaviour, and want someone else to help you fix this, when the only person doing the damage and capable of stopping it is you. Do you realise how ridiculous and petulant you sound? Grow up and do the right thing. Apologise for your behaviour and learn from your mistakes.
