Brad Pitt cast as Leonardo DiCaprio's stunt double in new Tarantino movie

Brad Pitt has been cast as the stunt double of Leonardo DiCaprio's ageing western star in Quentin Tarantino's new movie.

DiCaprio recently signed on to reteam with his 'Django Unchained' director for the project, which will be called 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood', and now reports of Pitt's involvement have been confirmed.

Tarantino has described the film as a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood.

The two lead characters are DiCaprio's Rick Dalton, a former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth played by Brad Pitt.

Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don't recognise anymore.

But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbour, who can hopefully help them out.

The quirky director has reportedly been working on this script for five years, and has lived in Los Angeles County most of his life, including in 1969, when the movie is set.

Which means he's very excited to tell this story of an L.A. and a Hollywood that don't exist anymore, and with the addition of DiCaprio and Pitt, Tarantino isn't the only one who's excited about the project.
