Globally, steel price cycle remains strong. China has extended some steel output cuts into future months. Steel markets have been reacting positively, he said.
Chinese futures market is an important indicator to track for reactions to government announcements, he added.
US steel import curbs import but moves from China will ultimately set the price, said Bartholomew.
