Principal Secretary, Haryana Industries and Commerce Department, Sudhir Rajpal on Wednesday said that congenial evironment has been made available in the state to boost business and various significant improvements have been made in the functioning of the departments as a result of which, Haryana has emerged as a top state in terms of ease of doing business.
Rajpal was addressing various industrialists at the Ease of Doing Business Summit Haryana 2018, here.
He said that the problems being faced by industrialists in setting up their ventures in the state were being eliminated rapidly.
In terms of ease of doing business, Haryana was at 14th position in 2015.
The State Government has taken various dynamic decisions for the welfare of industrialists as a result of which Haryana was at 6th position in 2016 and further bagged 4th position in 2017.
Now the state has bagged the first position, he said.
He said that risk assessment criteria has been redefined through common building code and as a result of it, 80 per cent of industries have been exempted from compliance inspections.
The GIS system and online system for land allotment has also facilitated those setting up new ventures in the state, he added.
He urged the present industrialists to keep contributing in the progress of the state and added that they can give their suggestions for making ease of doing business easier and better.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Secretary, Electronics and Information Technology, Devender Singh said that the State Government has implemented Start-up Policy, IT and ESDM Policy, Communication and Connectivity Policy and Cyber Security Policy which has accelerated the pace of development.
