Subin Sunil suffers from rare congenital disease

The Departments of Health and Social Justice and the Kerala Social Security Mission will draw up a project to help Subin Sunil who suffers from a rare congenital disease which causes his skin to break and fall off, Minister for Health K.K. Shylaja has said.

She visited Subin at his house at Melamcode in Nemom on Wednesday.

A team of doctors from the Government Medical College Hospital examined Subin.

They said a bone marrow transplant could lead to a significant improvement in his condition.

The Minister said as Subin’s family lived in a rented house, a recommendation to include them under the Life project to provide them with a house would be made.
