The TWA Hotel Is Touching Down at New York’s JFK

FOR YEARS, passengers racing to catch a flight at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport have barely given a glance to Eero Saarinen’s famed gull-winged TWA terminal, but in a few months, they’ll be doing double-takes: Long fenced-off and shuttered, it’s preparing for takeoff again as a glam airport hotel, scheduled to reopen by early 2019.
