Bentley’s Mulliner has Created Another One-Off Bentayga

Bentley is celebrating its partnership with The Jockey Club at the Cheltenham Festival with a special Bentayga.

Drawing on the Jockey Club’s rich history, Bentley’s Mulliner has designed an SUV celebrating the two brands’ partnership, based on British luxury and racing heritage. Mulliner is the British automaker’s personal commissioning division, and the latest Bentayga by Mulliner Inspired by The Festival takes inspiration from the world of equestrian sport.

Featuring a modern take on British Racing Green, the Bentayga is finished in Spruce, further accented by the Blackline Specification and 21-inch diamond-turned and black-painted wheels. Climbing into the luxurious cabin, the Bentayga has been furnished with bespoke tweed along with Cumbrian Green and Saddle leather hues. To accent the tweed, Mulliner applied a light blue contrast stitch to the door and seat quilting.

Minor details inside the cabin include Burr Walnut veneer, finished with a straight grained “picture frame” cross-branding technique, which Bentley says echoes some of the magnificent antique furniture in The Jockey Club’s private rooms. The passenger veneer panel has been finished with a gold horse graphic, adding a jewelry-like detail. Finally, each seat features an intricately embroidered horse and jockey emblem, created with a Saddle and Cognac thread.

The unique Bentayga by Mulliner Inspired by The Festival will be on display at the Bentley pavilion from March 13 to March 16 at the Cheltenham Festival.

“The Cheltenham Festival is widely recognised as one of the finest horseracing events in the world, and The Festival’s unique sense of occasion is a perfect showcase for the world’s most exclusive SUV, the Bentayga,” said Uday Senapati, Mulliner’s head of technical operations. “The Mulliner team has been deeply inspired by the equestrian lifestyle, and this has encouraged us to use new materials and techniques for the first time on a Bentley in developing this one-off commission.”
