Coimbatore: A 25-year-old man was killed after he lost control over his car, which crashed into a tree along the Annur-Sathyamangalam Road near Pasur on Wednesday. Two of his friends,
who were also travelling in the vehicle,
have suffered serious injuries.
The deceased was identified as T Vijayabharathi of Kollampatti in Dharmapuri district. “He was driving the car in a rash manner. He suffered severe injuries and died on the spot,” a police officer said.
Vijayabharathi’s friends Akilan and Sridhar from Kollampatti suffered severe injuries. They are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Coimbatore.
Annie police registered a case. Further investigation is on.
