LG had a subdued MWC event this year after they launched the LG V30S ThinQ, which was just a rebranded V30 with extra RAM and storage. However, some new reports claim to have spotted a phone called the G7 (Neo), which is believed to be the successor of the LG G6.

Now this device, as spotted in a video made by Israeli publication Ynet at MWC 2018, shows some very interesting features of the device which could make it flagship worthy. The theory of this G7 Neo was fuelled after reputed tipster Evan Blass tweeted out that this "maybe the device LG scrapped in favour of Judy." Judy, as per a report by Android Police, is the codename for the newest flagship from LG.

In terms of hardware the phone has a Snapdragon 845 and alongside it sits 6 GB of RAM and  64 GB or 128 GB of storage. The LG G7 Neo has a 3120x1440 pixel display which puts the aspect ratio of the screen at 19.5:9 making it one of the tallest displays on Android said the report.

The phone also sports dual-camera system with two 16 MP sensors and also an 8 MP front camera. On the front one can also see the iPhone X-like notch that was earlier also seen on the Asus Zenfone 5.

The fingerprint sensor on the back of the device has been positioned below dual-camera setup. The phone also reportedly supports DTS-X surround sound, as well as a "Boom Box", which will provide more bass when the device is placed on any surface, says the report.
