3-day dance workshop by Jawahar Bal Bhawan concludes

A three-day dance workshop organised at Jawahar Bal Bhavan for the kids concluded here on Wednesday with colourful Phoolon ki Holi. The young dancers performed on various holi tracks and played holi of flowers with each other.

It is to be noted that the workshop based on Holi was organized at jawahar Bal Bhavan for the little Bhopalites. The workshop was conducted by Sanghmitra Suraj Taiwade wherein se taught the young dancers about the classical steps on holi songs.

On the last day of the workshop, the children learned classical dance style on the song ‘Chal Ja Re Hat Natkhat’. Other than this performance, the young dancers performed on song Holiya me ude re gulaal, rang barse and other songs leaving the audience mesmerized.

On the concluding day, the children gave a small presentation of what they have learned in the workshop.With much grace the participants gave wondrous performance at Jawahar Bal Bhavan. The performance was divided into two groups, the senior group and the junior group.

The participants showcased their skills on western as well as at classical beats. The audiences were totally enthralled to watch the youngsters perform difficult dancing styles like contemporary and semi classical.

Director of Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Tripti Tripathi was also present on the occasion.
