Justice P. Naveen Rao of the Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday sought the services of three designated senior advocates of High Court to resolve the dispute regarding allegations of usage of white fluid to alter the answer sheets of Group –II mains papers conducted by Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC). These three senior advocates will peruse answer scripts of about 5,000 top candidates and ascertain whether white fluid was used by anyone to alter the results or acted to overcome the secrecy of identity of candidates.
The TSPSC had conducted written examination for 1,032 posts of group –II posts in 2015-16. There were allegations that some candidates had used white fluid to alter the OMR sheets. There were other allegations that come candidates wrote the name on answer scripts to identify the answer sheet and then manipulate the results. Several cases with overlapping and contradictory allegations were filed in High Court. All these cases were placed before Justice Naveen Rao.
The judge appointed the committee comprising of senior counsel P.Sri Raghu Ram, R.Raghunandan Rao and S.Niranjan Reddy. These three senior advocates have been requested to peruse answer sheets and submit report by March 19.
