GHMC’s ‘She Toilets’ initiative has bagged ISO-9001-2015 certification from the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) for their construction, installation, operation and maintenance, a press release from the civic body informed.
Mayor Bonthu Ram Mohan and Commissioner B. Janardhan Reddy received the certificate at GHMC office on Tuesday.
The municipal corporation has, so far, constructed 24 She toilets and four more are in the offing. In 13 other areas, the toilets are under construction under corporate social responsibility, involving various organisations, the note said.
