A delegation of Power Finance Corporation was informed by Transmission Corporation Chairman D. Prabhakar Rao that the construction of 800 MW power plant at Manuguru was completed and arrangements were made to start operations by next month end.
Two units of the 1,084 MW Bhadradri plant will be launched by December-end and another two units by next June. The delegation led by its chairman Rajiv Sharma met the Chief Secretary S.K. Joshi and later Mr. Rao to discuss funding of various power projects in the State and the status of their construction.
