A man has died after being stabbed inside a home in Melbourne's north-east on Wednesday morning.
Paramedics were called to the Heidelberg Heights house just before 1am.

A 48-year-old Heidelberg Heights man was arrested at the scene on Southern Road.
He is assisting police. It is believed the men are known to each other.
The ABC is reporting the men were housemates. A mutal friend allegedly came to the house when the pair were arguing and called triple 0.
