After the Kapoor family and members of the film fraternity bid their final goodbyes to the late Sridevi at Juhu's Pavan Hans crematorium, Boney Kapoor put out a statement on Twitter, through Sridevi's handle.

The producer urged members of the media fraternity to allow them to 'grieve privately' and spoke about how his priority now is to protect his two teenaged daughters, Janhvi and Khushi.
Kapoor also fondly remembered his wife, saying their lives now will never be the same.
On February 24, Sridevi passed away in Dubai after accidentally drowning in a bathtub in her hotel room.
