Little Millennium Education Pvt. Ltd. is looking at increasing the number of pre-schools in the city through its franchises, announced company heads on Tuesday. The pre-school brand allows educators to run franchises by investing ₹12 to ₹20 lakh.
Each franchise will be provided with curriculum, round-the-year training support, marketing support and IT support. Teachers will also have access to detailed lesson plan manuals that cover the entire curriculum.
Pre-school education sector has been growing by 20% a year, Raman Bajaj, CEO of the company said at a media conference. By 2020, the core industry is expected to be worth ₹25,000 crore. The brand runs 500 pre-schools in 100 cities in India.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Bajaj said, “With the rising middle class, higher disposable income coupled with the growing importance of educating kids at a nascent stage, Pre-School education segment in India is on an upswing. We operate through a franchise model that allows us to partner with like-minded and passionate entrepreneurs who want to start a pre-school of their own. This partnership approach allows us to scale up our operations quickly and take the benefits of high quality pre-school education to parents all over the country.”
To tap into demand for pre-school franchising, the brand hosted an Investor Programme-cum-Entrepreneurship Workshop recently. Little millennium will also host Teachers Excellence Awards 2018 in Hyderabad to felicitate and reward their teachers.
