Paul Walker Documentary Being Produced by Paramount

A documentary on the life of actor and car enthusiast Paul Walker is being produced by Paramount Network, Network Entertainment, and I Am Heath Ledger producer Derik Murray.

The documentary, to be called I Am Paul Walker, will explore the late Fast and Furious star’s acting and film career, along with his love for the ocean and marine life and his charitable efforts in Haiti following the 2010 earthquake. It’s not yet clear if his huge passion for cars will be mentioned in the film, but for a car-crazy guy like Walker, we’d be surprised if it wasn’t.

Walker was killed in November 2013 after the Porsche Carrera GT he was a passenger in crashed into a concrete lamp post and caught on fire. An investigation into the accident concluded that the speed the vehicle was traveling at, believed to be between 80 and 93 mph, along with its 9-year-old tires, were contributing factors in the crash.

Murray has also produced film profiles of other celebrities including Heath Ledger, Muhammad Ali and Bruce Lee. There no word yet on when I Am Paul Walker will be released.
