Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Sushil Kumar Modi today presented state budget of over 1(point)77 lakh crore rupees in the Assembly today.
No tax has been imposed in the budget. Mr.Modi said the size of the budget is about ten percent more than the previous year's budget.
He said the maximum budget has been allocated to Education department followed by Rural works and Energy department.
Mr Modi said six thousand rupees grant will be given to those farmers who will do organic farming. For this, an organic corridor will be set up in the state.
