Job racket: S’garh youth arrested for duping 20

A 27-year-old youth was  arrested and forwarded to court here on Monday allegedly for duping 20 unemployed  youths in Sundargarh and taking from them Rs1lakh to provide them jobs in the National  Institute of Technology,  Rourkela and giving them fake  appointment letter of NIT.

According to sources, Anil  Nayak(27) of IGH Colony, Jhumpudi basti at  Rourkela is the acused. One  Manoj  Sahoo  of  Bondamunda area  lodged  FIR on  Sunday  that  Anil had  lured  20 youths including  him on the pretext of giving jobs in the National Institute of  Technology  at  Rourkela  if  they  give  him  Rs1 lakh each.

Anil had demanded  Rs5,000 each as advance  amount from the 20 youths. Anil after collecting total Rs1lakh from  them had  also told  them that after  joining  their  duty,  they will have  to give  him  rest Rs95,000 each. Anil  had  given  them  appointment letter  on  a  fake  letter  head  of  NIT  wherein  it  had  been mentioned  that the  candidate  will  have  to  join  duty on February 23. 

The  job  aspirants  accordingly  went  to the NIT on February 23 to join but they  came to know that Anil had duped them.
