Through the innovative ideas, the students raised the bar of creativity at their annual function Ujaas 2018. The students came over the ramp with representing different bridal cultures of the country.
On Monday, the third day of Anand Vihar College for Women’s annual fest ‘Ujaas 2018’ was all about the bridal culture of the country. It was just not the fashion show but was a sturdy platform for the youngsters to showcase the best of their talent.
Presenting the bridal traditions from across the country, the students won hearts at Ujaas. Each participant was dressed beautifully while displaying her inimitable talent before the audiences. The students designed the dresses too and also presented their creativity on the ramp.
As many as 60 students were the part of the bridal show. During the bridal fashion show the students presented the bright and fizzy shades of bridal dresses. The contest was held in two rounds. In first round, the participants were marked on their dresses, make-up and hairstyles. In the second round, the participants walked over the ramp.
The students with much confidence walked over the ramp and displayed the wedding culture and traditions of the country. From Punjabi bride to Marathi and from Hindu bride to Muslim brides’ students portrayed the beauty of all traditions walking over the ramp. The different look in traditional lehngas, saris, wedding gowns and salwar suit the students showcased them all with much swag on the ramp.
The highly decorated backdrop and the colourful costumes worn by the participants added an extra effect to their performances as they walked over the ramp maintaining their zest.
The annual function was divided into various segments in which the students performed to the best of their skills. Along with the Bridal Fashion Show various other competitions were also organized at Anand Vihar College for Women in which the students participated enthusiastically showcased.
